Buying: How We Work!

Many ad agencies work on a commission basis for providing services.  Media planning and buying is a labor intensive function of the advertising business with co-op submissions, invoice and copy auditing and negotiating purchases of air time or print space. At New Day Media we no longer work using the agency commission business model. First and foremost, we do not want to be swayed by a commission from a vendor whom we negotiate pricing for our customers. We believe this is counterproductive to the process of providing honest client representation. After all, we work for our customers benefit alone. Commissions or discounts we would normally receive are passed on to our clients to maximize their advertising budgets. All discounts will be reflected in the vendor invoices. For our services, we receive a retainer that covers the individual needs pertaining to a particular client.
